Who I am...

Who I am? Good question ... I would like to ask the various people I have met in the different stages of this life-journey that brought me here ... let's try to make a game of imagination ... let's see who we meet ....

A little girl now grown  is ready to say: “ she was my teacher, I remember her dancing while explaining things and making us dance!"

Another girl interrupts:“who, Antonella?' she was my tutor  before social  worker took me into a family -home because my mother was a toxic. "

“Wasn’t she that volunteer assistant to the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere to whom me and other detainees have told our concerns?" - A very hollow male voice resonates-. Concerns and confessions collected in a university thesis remained an old  furniture,I would add, but surely carved in my heart.

An acquaintance sings "Who, Ametista the chanching doll?  'I saw her  the other day in the street, she was dancing with some children and then they gave hem some money as well ... " You mean that she is a street artist nowdays and she was making hat? "a former classmate says ! "It’s strange!  A few years ago I saw her dancing in a national tv,poor her,now she need to dance in the street!!!  "

“No, I swear that I have seen her dancing with fire in a festival ... it was the Napoli Teatro Festival!"

" Wasn’t she Anna in the cinema movie Pater

Familias?"

"It seems that someone have seen her dancing in Africa at the Bagamoyo festival in Tanzania!"

"Come on, she’ s crazy!"

Enough, enough, I've heard enough, boo me just a little 'my ears! I do not know who I am, but definitely my being so fragmented, multi-faceted, which sometimes makes me feel so lost and scattered, sometimes it 's also my strong point. Someone would call it to be eclectic? I don’t  know. I only know that the art is born in me long before me and Mama Africa has accepted my being and my art, making even me a mother.

And then I know there's the Fire, this  ancestral and sparkling friend that accompanying me for more than ten years and I know that there is the Water that is my dance, and is perhaps the versatility that characterizes my performances. And then - if you have not yet bored - I'll be glad to take you through photos and videos to the discovery of my art and my madness! Please follow me ... just one click! Even to make me disappear!!!
